How this works

Numbers come from SAP Business One, mirrored into a data warehouse that refreshes throughout the day. "Fast" reads from that warehouse (recommended for everyday use). "Live from SAP" bypasses the warehouse and reads the figures directly from SAP at the moment you click — use this if you need numbers that are current to the second, for example right after closing a big transaction.

  • Inventory Value shows the book value of stock on hand at each month-end.
  • The optional reconciliation row cross-checks that figure against Finance's own Balance Sheet account, independently — both should always match.
  • Every December's figures exclude SAP's automatic year-end closing entry, so the numbers reflect real trading activity, not bookkeeping housekeeping.
